If you are making eyelet curtains, as the weave is a raised embroidery we would recommend joining a four inch band of plain fabric at the top so that the eyelet tape sits better. 
 
It also adds character to curtains. You can see beautifully made eyelet curtains above and also an example of turquoise and pale green colours which pick out either of the two leaf shades.
 
The width is 140cms/54 inches.
 
Pattern repeat is only 24cms/9.5 inches.
