The fabric is a substantial weight embroidered polyester and hangs beautifully.
 
The width is around 145cms/57 inches.
 
The pattern repeat is quite unusual in that the flowers are all very slightly different all the way along so will probably not match perfectly when joined, although not that noticeable when gathered. You may also need to start further into the width if needing to join two widths together... 
 
Recommended dry clean only, if washing by hand test a small piece beforehand.
